Information Through Visualization
April 5, 2010
Some very interesting visualizations by David MacCandless of Informationisbeautiful.net . There are many other of his works which are available on his website, I am just linking here few of them which I liked. In the first one he gives a relative graph of all the spending and earnings (in billions) by countires/people on different activities which gives us a better perspective of what all these crazy numbers mean. The second one is about how different European nations are doing with respect to Kyoto agreement on reducing greenhouse gases. The third one shows various events which created much hoopla (mostly by the media) than what happened in reality. Fourth one depicts the sea level and how it’s rising will affect various cities around the world in coming years. And the fifth one shows Haiti relief efforts by various countries.Click on the images to see the clear picture.
