First BP Spill Underwater Video
May 13, 2010
Deepwater Horizon Incident Response Center has released first underwater video of the BP spill. The video was taken at the source of the spill, 5000 ft below the sea level and the dark crude oil can be seen gushing out. In the second video you can see the failed effort of covering the leak with a 4-storey tall, 100 tonne heavy, metallic dome. The second video can probably give you some idea of the scale of the leak by comparing it with the size of the dome.
